I grew up with a strong need to create. Even as a child, I had a craft room and would create something out of nothing. I dreamed of being many things; an art teacher, interior designer, an artist. A few of those things came true... I graduated with a degree in k-12 art education and focus in painting in 2010. Nowadays I am a stay at home Mom and homemaker with my 2 beautiful daughters and amazing husband. We live in Minneapolis, Minnesota where we enjoy the unique character of our neighborhood and surrounding area. It has been a great place to feel supported in my artistic ability.
I am a very, very organized person. My family loves me for it. (wink) I very rarely am ever late, and love to have things planned to a T. I feel much better when things are where they should be. If you feel you are lacking in this area when planning an event, lay the pressure on me!
Not only do I love creating, but I also love to throw parties. I always jump on the opportunity to celebrate the people I love by throwing them a shower or party. I enjoy coming up with themes, colors, and decorations as well as the hunt of supplies to make it happen. I search all over for unique ideas and supplies at garage sales, auctions, thrift stores, and craft stores.
